Frequently asked questions
The questions shared across the four specialities, the questions patients travelling from abroad ask, and why there are no prices, reviews or before-and-after images on this site.
What happens at the first consultation, and is treatment done the same day?
Your complaint and what you want are listened to, the relevant examination and measurements are done, and tests are requested if needed. You leave the consultation with a unit in your hand: a graft range, a number of teeth and a target shade, or a dose range in units.
Same-day treatment should not be expected. For transplants, nothing proceeds until blood test results have been seen; if they are not satisfactory the procedure is deferred. That is a safety rule, not a failure of organisation.
How many nights do I need for a hair or beard transplant?
Typically three: examination and planning on arrival, the operation the next day, first wash and check on the third. You can travel home on the fourth day.
The exact duration is given in writing once your plan exists. We suggest you do not book the flight before that.
How many trips do I need for dental treatment?
For crowns and smile design, one trip of 5–7 days is enough; impressions, try-in and cementation fit into that time.
Implants need two separate trips because integration takes 2–3 months: the implant is placed on the first, the restoration completed on the second. If bone volume is insufficient, grafting can extend the process by 3–6 months.
Who administers botulinum toxin?
Botulinum toxin is a prescription medicine and is only administered by a doctor. Treatment begins with an examination.
The dose is set by assessing the range for the area alongside your own muscle strength. The name of the product, its batch number and the total units are written into your file; the next session’s dose is set from that record.
What is not done at this clinic?
Nothing outside the four areas: hair transplant, beard and moustache transplant, dental treatment and botulinum toxin.
Injectable treatments other than botulinum toxin, surgical procedures and anything requiring general anaesthesia are outside this clinic’s scope. Where a request falls outside it, we say so and point you elsewhere; we do not say “let us do that as well”.
I am travelling from abroad — how does the process work?
The process has four steps. At pre-assessment you send photographs and any test results, and the doctor replies in writing. At planning, how many nights you need becomes clear and you book the flight after that.
In Istanbul, the examination, the procedure and the next-day check are all in the same schedule. After you go home, follow-up continues in writing; all four steps are set out on the About Us page.
What exactly is not included?
Flights, travel insurance, transfers and accommodation are not part of the clinical plan. Neither is any preliminary treatment found on the X-ray once you arrive — gum treatment, a root canal, an extraction or bone grafting — which is quoted when it is found.
Long-term maintenance is also yours to arrange where you live: hygiene visits, night guard replacement, annual implant checks and any prescription medicine you continue at home. If a complication is dealt with by a local practice, that practice bills you for it. All of this is written into the plan you receive before you travel, so it is not a surprise on the day.
Does the clinic sell transfers and accommodation?
No. In health tourism, the sale of travel and accommodation services is required by law to run through a licensed travel agency.
The clinic plans the medical process; airport pick-up, transfers and the hotel are organised by a licensed agency and invoiced separately. Anyone travelling with you can be included in the same arrangement.
Can I read the consent form in my own language?
Yes. No procedure is performed until informed consent has been presented in a language you understand. For English-speaking patients that means an English form, given to you to read before the day rather than translated verbally in the chair.
You are expected to ask about any clause you do not understand. Consent is not a signature formality but the written form of the limits of the procedure and its possible complications.
Which languages are supported at the clinic?
This site is published in seven languages: Turkish, English, German, Russian, Arabic, French and Spanish.
Which language is supported on which day for in-clinic conversation and coordination is confirmed when the schedule is set; not every language is guaranteed for every day. Your consent document is presented in a language you understand in every case.
How is follow-up done after treatment?
Every procedure has its own follow-up schedule and you are given it in writing at discharge.
For hair and beard transplants there are photo reviews at months 1, 3, 6 and 12, with the result settling at 12–18 months. For dental treatment the second trip is planned; for botulinum toxin there is a day-14 review. For patients who have gone home, follow-up continues by message or video call.
What happens if there is a complication once I am home?
Message the clinic first with photographs. You get a written clinical opinion, and we tell you plainly whether it can wait, whether you should be seen by a GP or a local dentist, or whether you need to come back.
You travel home with a written record of what was done and which materials were used, plus your radiographs — that is what a doctor or dentist where you live will ask for. Treatment carried out by a local practice is billed by them, which is worth checking against your travel insurance before you fly.
Why are there no prices on this site?
The Turkish Regulation on Promotion and Information Activities in Health Services, dated 12 November 2025, prohibits healthcare providers from giving information on fees, discounts and campaigns.
There is no price field defined anywhere in this site’s data model, in any language. Your own plan and what it covers are sent to you individually and in writing after an examination.
Why are there no patient reviews, ratings or before-and-after images?
The same regulation prohibits sharing patient satisfaction for advertising purposes and places strict conditions on before-and-after images. So there is no review component on this site and no rating data is sent to search engines. The ASA in the UK, and the ASAI in Ireland, apply much the same principle to clinics advertising there.
The clinical reason points the same way: someone else’s result does not show you yours. What decides it is your donor density, your bone volume and your muscle strength — so instead of images, we publish those variables.
Why are there no doctors’ names on the team page?
Published information about doctors has to be verifiable, and the use of unverified titles is prohibited. We are not publishing names until verification of the clinical team is complete.
The Our Team page currently sets out roles by speciality and the limits of responsibility. Names, specialties and registration details will be added once verification is complete.
What happens to my personal data?
Health data is special category personal data under Article 6 of Türkiye’s Law No. 6698 — the country’s data protection law, closely modelled on the European framework you will know as the GDPR. It is processed for treatment purposes by healthcare staff bound by a duty of confidentiality.
Separate explicit consent is taken for any marketing use, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. The form on this site sends no data to a server; the detail is in the Data Protection Notice.
Pre-assessment
Describe your situation and we will answer with a measurement
Send a photograph or an X-ray. A doctor in the relevant speciality will reply with a graft range, a number of teeth or a dose range in units. If you are not suitable, we say so plainly.
