Oral and dental health
Dental treatment has two layers: first the mouth has to be healthy, then it has to look right. It is measured in the number of teeth and a VITA shade.

Dental planning has two layers: first the mouth has to be healthy, then it has to look right. A cosmetic crown fitted over gum disease, decay or a root infection hides the problem rather than removing it, and the problem comes back on your side of the flight.
Every treatment therefore starts with a panoramic X-ray and, where needed, a 3D scan. For implant planning, bone height and width are measured to the millimetre; where there is not enough, volume is built up first.
On the cosmetic side the units are the number of teeth and the shade. How many teeth are being treated, and which shade on the VITA scale is being targeted, are agreed in writing before anything is prepared — and nothing goes to the laboratory until you have approved it at the try-in.
One thing to know before you travel: a treatment plan made from photographs is provisional. It is confirmed or revised after the X-ray in Istanbul, and we tell you in writing if it changes before anything is started.

All-on-4 Implants
A fixed solution for a full arch using few implants; angled placement makes efficient use of the bone you have.Zirconia Crowns
A metal-free crown for cases that need colour, form and strength at the same time.Porcelain Laminate Veneers
Correcting colour and form on a sound tooth with minimal preparation; usually 6–12 teeth.Smile Design
Not a single procedure; the plan that decides which treatments happen, and in what order.Teeth Whitening
Lightening colour without removing tissue; done either in the surgery or at home.Clear Aligners
Orthodontic movement through a digitally planned series of trays, without brackets.Braces (Fixed Orthodontics)
Comprehensive orthodontic treatment with metal, ceramic or lingual brackets.Root Canal Treatment
Endodontic treatment aimed at saving the tooth rather than extracting it; completed in 1–2 sessions.Gum Treatment
Treatment of the periodontal disease behind bleeding, recession and mobility; done over 2–4 sessions.Decision guides
Decision guides
- Implant or bridge? An implant stands on its own without touching the neighbouring teeth but needs 2–3 months to integrate with the bone; a bridge is completed in 5–7 days but requires 1.0–1.5 mm to be removed from every surface of the sound teeth on either side of the gap. Because removed tooth tissue does not come back, the decision is irreversible.
- Zirconia or veneers?A laminate veneer is applied with 0.3–0.7 mm of reduction to the front surface only; a zirconia crown wraps the tooth completely and therefore requires 1.0–1.5 mm to be removed from every surface. Because enamel does not grow back, the choice follows the condition of the tooth today.
- How many trips for dental treatment?Zirconia crowns or laminate veneers are completed in a single trip, typically 5–7 days. Implants need two trips: the implant is placed on the first (2–3 days), then 2–3 months of bone integration follow, and the restoration is completed on the second (4–5 days).
- Choosing a tooth shadeThe shade is chosen from the 16 shades of the VITA Classical scale (A1–D4) or from the VITA 3D-Master scale. A natural-looking shade is one that does not exceed the brightness of the whites of your eyes and matches the warmth of your skin tone; nothing goes into production until the chosen shade is approved at the try-in.

Describe your situation and we will answer with a measurement
Send a photograph or an X-ray. A doctor in the relevant speciality will reply with a graft range, a number of teeth or a dose range in units. If you are not suitable, we say so plainly.
