Botulinum toxin injections
Botulinum toxin injections reduce the movement of a target muscle temporarily by delivering a measured dose into it; the unit of measure is the unit.

This is the administration of a prescription medicine. The substance is botulinum toxin, the person administering it has to be a doctor, and the treatment begins with an examination. That is what separates it from a cosmetic treatment, and it is why you will see it called botulinum toxin rather than a brand name throughout this site — naming a prescription-only medicine in advertising is restricted in Türkiye and in the UK alike.
The unit of measure is the unit. Every area has its own dose range, and that range narrows or widens with how strong your muscles are. Nobody gets a standard dose for an area: a patient with strong, mobile expression muscles and a patient with weak ones need different amounts.
The effect is not permanent. It begins 3–7 days after treatment, settles fully at 10–14 days and lasts 4–6 months. That impermanence is not a shortcoming — it is what makes the dose adjustable each time.
No injectable treatment other than botulinum toxin is performed at this clinic. Dermal fillers, mesotherapy and similar procedures are outside our scope, and we will say so rather than refer you on the day.

- How many units? The dose is calculated in units and varies by area: 8–20 for the forehead, 10–25 for the frown lines (glabella), 6–12 per side for crow’s feet, 20–30 per side for the masseter, 4–8 for a gummy smile and 50 per side for underarm sweating. The exact dose is set by assessing the strength of the target muscle at examination.
- The first 14 daysFor the first 4 hours after treatment you do not lie down and do not massage the area; the effect starts on days 3–7, settles fully at days 10–14, and the dose is assessed at the day-14 review. In the expression areas the effect lasts 4–6 months.

Pre-assessment
Describe your situation and we will answer with a measurement
Send a photograph or an X-ray. A doctor in the relevant speciality will reply with a graft range, a number of teeth or a dose range in units. If you are not suitable, we say so plainly.
