Cookie policy
No advertising, analytics or profiling cookies are used on this site, which is why you do not see a cookie consent banner.
Why there is no cookie banner
Cookie consent is required when non-essential cookies are used. Because no non-essential cookies are used on this site, no consent banner is shown. The same logic applies under the UK’s PECR rules and the EU ePrivacy Directive: no non-essential cookies, no consent requirement.
Contrary to common practice, showing a cookie banner is not in itself a sign of compliance. What matters is which cookies are actually running, so instead of showing a banner we publish the list.
Technologies not used
The following are not present on this site:
- Google Analytics and similar analytics cookies
- Google Ads, Meta and TikTok retargeting tags
- Preference-remembering or personalisation cookies
- Login, basket or user account cookies — the site has no such function
- Cookies arriving from third-party embedded content (video, map components)
- Requests to third-party font servers
Your browser’s own storage
The site relies on your browser’s standard cache to avoid re-downloading files. That is not a cookie, contains no personal data and can be cleared from your browser settings.
Beyond that, a single record is kept: when you close the live chat panel, a flag is written to session storage so it does not reopen in the same tab. That flag contains no personal data, is not sent to a server and is deleted when you close the tab.
How language selection works
The site is published in seven languages, and the language is determined by the URL path rather than by a cookie. Turkish pages sit at the root and the other languages are served under their own prefixes.
So no cookie is written to remember your language preference; bookmarking the address of the language you want is enough.
If this changes
If an analytics or similar tool is added, this page will be updated and, where required, a consent mechanism will be put in place. Until something is added, this page does not change.
When there is a change, the update date at the top of the page is refreshed and the same change is recorded on the Privacy Policy page.
