Laser Hair Removal
Targeting melanin in the follicle to permanently reduce hair growth.
Why the interval cannot be shortened
Laser only affects follicles in the active growth phase. Shortening the interval does not speed up the course; it wastes a session on follicles that are not yet targetable.
Device selection by skin type
Your Fitzpatrick skin type determines the device. Nd:YAG is safer on darker skin; alexandrite is more effective on lighter skin with fine hair.
White, grey and blond hair lack the melanin the laser targets. We say this before you book, not after.
Questions we are asked
Is it permanent?
The accurate term is permanent reduction. Density drops substantially; an annual maintenance session may be needed.
